America’s Dream Coach Speaks to Parker College of Chiropractic

Marcia Wieder

Marcia Wieder shares how to make a dream a reality with Parker College students, faculty, and staff

November 2, 2009 (Dallas) — Marcia Wieder, America’s dream coach, spoke at Parker College of Chiropractic on how everyone can make their dreams their new realities. Wieder is known for giving inspiring and moving talks. In addition to being a compelling speaker, she’s the renowned author of four books dedicated to achieving your dreams: Making Your Dreams Come True, Life is But a Dream, Dreams are Whispers From the Soul, and Doing Less and Having More.

Wieder explained that at a certain level, the chiropractic students are in the same business as her. “We are in the business of making dreams come true,” said Wieder. “Without our own health and wellness we can’t focus on our dreams.”

She advised the audience to dream about their dreams and believe that they can and will achieve them if they really believe it. “Dream of making the world a better place by chiropractic care,” said Wieder. “Be committed to making your own dreams.”

Wieder recommended the students first focus on their dream and not to worry about being realistic. She asked them what they would do if time and money weren’t issues. Wieder said they cannot let doubt, fear, or reality get in the way of their dreams.

“We compromise our dreams down before we discover the possibilities,” said Wieder.

Wieder explained that in order to make dreams come true you must take risks and trust yourself because sometimes there is no evidence that a dream is a good idea. She said the only place to look for evidence is in your own heart. “Believe in something simply because it matters to you and then prove that you believe in it by doing something,” said Wieder.

She advised the audience to take action on their dreams because by taking one step new resources show up and this will make them even more serious about the dream. The power is in taking the step, not just talking about it. She calls this a dream movement.

“You’re on the upside of a perfect storm to help with the health care reform,” said Wieder. “You stand for possibility and hope and transformation in the most critical time in health care. With your willingness to dream the dream, I know the world is going to be a better place.”

She has taught people it’s never too late to make a dream come true. She’s also a syndicated columnist for The San Francisco Chronicle in which she urges readers to take "The Great Dream Challenge"- a call to arms for dreamers from all walks of life.

“My mission, calling, and gift in service to God is to inspire people to be who they want to be,” said Wieder.

Wieder is also the founder of Dream University, where she has certified close to 1,000 dream coaches to lead her masterful work. Many have their own successful practices, and others have brought her powerful message into their companies, communities, and schools. For more information please visit www.dreamuniversity.com
