Dr. Fabrizio Mancini Shares the Keys to a Healthy Body, Mind, and Spirit

Dr. Mancini speaks during Parker Seminar in Dallas
October 2, 2009 (Dallas) — Dr. Fabrizio Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic and Parker Seminars, presented the keys to a healthy body, mind, and spirit to more than 1,500 chiropractors, chiropractic assistants, massage therapists, and chiropractic students during the Dallas Parker Seminar.
“He plays such a significant role in the chiropractic profession all over the world,” said Dr. Gilles Lamarche, vice president of Parker Seminars. “He always brings the level of commitment, honesty, and integrity to everything he does.”
“I was planning on talking about the health care reform, but then thought that there is no health reform without self reform,” said Dr. Mancini.
Dr. Mancini explained that becoming healthy is an active process of making healthy choices over time to create a more fulfilling, successful lifestyle. He shared with the audience that everyone is made up of three aspects, physical, emotional, and spiritual, and that in order to reach your optimal health potential you must put great effort into maintaining the three aspects.
Dr. Mancini advised his fellow health care professionals to encourage their patients to live a healthier lifestyle, share with them that there is another way to get a better quality of life, leave them with an expectation of something they can do, and explain the important role of chiropractic for a healthy body, mind, and spirit.
To maintain the physical aspect of health, Dr. Mancini recommended everyone exercise regularly and move their bodies as often as they can throughout the day. He advised setting a scheduled time each day for physical fitness so that it becomes a routine.
Eating healthy is another requirement. It is important to eat balanced meals that include the vitamins and nutrients a body needs to work properly. Dr. Mancini advised the audience to eat a generous breakfast, a healthy lunch, and a light dinner no later than three hours before they go to sleep.
Chiropractic plays a significant role in maintaining the physical part of the body. The main component for chiropractic is to remove any nerve interference in order to have a healthy nervous system so that the body can heal itself.
Dr. Mancini encouraged the audience to put health at the top of their life by living what they are promoting so that they are living a life congruent to the chiropractic philosophy. He advised them to educate their patients about nutrition and exercising regularly by setting an example. “The patients are watching more of what you do instead of what you say,” said Dr. Mancini.
He asked the chiropractors to encourage their patients to do the things they love to do to maintain a healthy mind. “Because much of people’s sickness is because of stress, you must de-stress and rid the negative parts of your life in order to obtain emotional health,” said Dr. Mancini.
To maintain a healthy spirituality, Dr. Mancini told the audience to believe in a purpose that is higher than themselves. Dr. Mancini believes that in order to achieve peace in spirituality you must forgive your past, give gratitude, and live in love.
“Our diversity is our greatest strength because we question things,” said Dr. Mancini. “We became aware of what was not healthy and not helping people and decided to choose to live our lives for a greater cause by becoming a chiropractor.”
“Chiropractic has never been about surviving,” said Dr. Mancini. “My favorite Parker Principle is ‘develop a compulsion to serve that is greater than the compulsion to survive.’ Doing that is what I call self reform.”
