Diagnostic Imaging Residency Program

The Diagnostic Imaging Residency Program at Parker College of Chiropractic is a three (3) calendar year program designed to qualify the enrolled resident in good standing to sit for the American Board of Chiropractic Radiologist's board examinations. The program is rigorous and residents are selected on a competitive basis for limited openings and receive an annual salary with health benefits. Applicants are chosen based upon a written examination, oral viewbox examinations, and an interview with the residency selection committee.

Residents experience didactic sessions, film sessions, clinical rotations, teaching responsibilities, imaging rotations at cooperative teaching hospitals and at area imaging centers, and publication opportunities during the program. The program also features sectional examinations, psychometrically evaluated, to help the resident personally identify strong / weak points within their course of study. Applicants applying for the residency position are expected to have above average knowledge of academic / clinical radiology while demonstrating a strong self-motivated desire to successfully complete the program and pursue diplomate status with the American Board of Chiropractic Radiology. New residents are accepted each September with the application process beginning in June.
