Can I come by the gross lab and bring a friend, a relative, a patient, etc.?
No, the State Anatomic Board does not allow visitations in the gross labs. This is for the privacy of those individuals who donated their bodies to our Willed Body program.
Where do the cadavers come from?
People donate their bodies to the college in our Willed Body program
How would someone go about donating their body?
Contact the department of anatomical sciences at the college or call 214.902.3473
When are the tri 9 CPR updates?
They are usually scheduled during the last 4 weeks of the trimester.
Where can I take a CPR class?
If you are local contact the Continuing Education department for available dates. If you are from out of town go to American Heart Association and click on find a class near you. You will be asked to put your zip code in the program and the site will give you a list of facilities where you can take classes. It's recommended you take the Healthcare Provider class which is the same as the one at college.
Why don't we have more techniques as electives?
The college's Board of Trustees determines which techniques are taught at the college.
Why don't we get these case studies earlier in the curriculum?
Case studies are introduced once the student has the adequate background to properly evaluate the individual cases presented.
How do you attract new patients?
There are a variety of ways to attract new patients. Many of these techniques are taught at the Parker Seminars which we highly recommend you attend. These techniques are also taught in the Business Principles courses taught on campus.
How did you get patients to follow your treatment plan?

Where can I find a tutor?
Information is available in the Dean of Student's Office, located in the Northeast corner of the South building on the second floor, suite S201.
How do I drop a class?
You need to go to the Registrar's office in the West hallway, South building, first floor, suite S102 across from the business office. They will give you the necessary form.
How do I study for exams?
Read Becoming a Successful Student, written by Dr. Giggleman, which is available in the campus bookstore.
I have test anxiety, where do I go to talk to someone?
To the Dean of Student's Office. Northeast corner of the South building, second floor, suite S201.
Why do I have to take Basic Science courses to be a chiropractor?
Basic science is the foundation of your educational process. Students need this class to understand the fundamentals of chiropractic.
I need to miss a test because I am traveling out of town. Can I take a make up exam?
You need to consult the syllabus for the class in question and discuss this with your instructor. In general, vacation is not an acceptable reason to miss an exam and make up exams are typically not given for this.

When are labs?
Lab schedules for the classes are printed on the lecture calendar.
When will my grades be posted after exams?
Exam grades are typically posted within 48 hours of the administration of the exam.
