September 30, 2009 (Dallas) — Parker Seminars played host to more than 1,500 chiropractors, chiropractic assistants, massage therapists, and chiropractic students from all over the world. The seminar included Parker traditions along with many new events, speakers, and topics where attendees discovered, shared, and celebrated the profession.
Helping each other live a better quality of life was one common theme that kept appearing throughout the seminar. Dr. Mancini, president of Parker College of Chiropractic, presented the keys to a healthy body, mind, and spirit. He explained that in order to maintain a healthy body you must exercise regularly, eat healthy, and receive chiropractic adjustments frequently. The key to achieving a healthy mind is de-stressing by ridding the negative parts of your life. To maintain a healthy spirituality, Dr. Mancini told the audience to believe in a purpose that is higher than themselves.

Dr. Mancini encouraged the audience to put health at the top of their priorities by living what they are promoting so that they are living a life congruent to the chiropractic philosophy. He advised them to educate their patients about nutrition and exercising regularly by setting an example. “The patients are watching more of what you do instead of what you say,” said Dr. Mancini.
