Clinic Abroad Program

Parker Clinic Abroad Program is for senior interns at Parker College of Chiropractic. The purpose of this program is to afford our Parker chiropractic interns an opportunity for a multicultural clinical experience. Parker College students study at the Universidad Estatal del Valle de Ecatepac in Mexico. This 11-week experience, promotes the development of Spanish-speaking chiropractors to meet the increasing Hispanic population health care demands in the United States. It offers students the opportunity to examine and treat a higher volume of patients that will provide an impetus to bring the students to a more advanced level of clinical performance. The program also allows chiropractic students to experience the culture in the real-world setting and continue the transition of students from a college internship to that of a chiropracic field practitioner.
